(I think he was on a Ted Talk). Anyways, I thought it would be amazing to do something like that. So if you want, I would like you to leave a short story about whatever you want, I guess! A real story, maybe? Maybe dreams you've had before or something that changed you or inspired you. Only if you want to be a part of it.</p><p>The only requirement for my project is to make the words and picture somewhat correlate, but if I draw a world then it'd kind of incorporate everything. Anyways, if you leave your e-mail I'll e-mail you the finished project (only if you want). Or just tell me a better way to show it to those who want to see it. I could post it somewhere (it should be complete by Wednesday, since that's when it's due).</p><p>Anyways, if you like this idea then just put a small story or something that you want about yourself or anything you love, and I'll put it on the image! Isn't it just a majority vote on what society thinks? One culture views something as okay, while another shuns you for it. Who's to say who is right? Isn't it all just perception? Pre-arranged marriage is a hot topic in the media these days, and that is a prime example. One society perceives it as normal, while others see it as disgusting. Who's right? What if one society deemed that eating chocolate pudding on Thursday nights was evil. If the entire society agreed it was evil, then is it? But it often isn't. It all depends on the atheist in question...<p>Atheism, in its most basic sense, is just a lack of belief in a god or gods, and that really is the full extent of it, to a lot of atheists I know! My dad and grandmother, for instance, are both this kind of atheist... They don't actively think there's nothing more to this reality. But they've never had a deeply life-changing spiritual experience of their own, so they don't actively think there IS either... They're both very open-minded! I can talk to them about my spirituality, and they find it interesting to hear about it. They will readily admit that I COULD potentially be on to something, but they wouldn't know. So in their case, their atheism is merely the ABSENCE of belief, due to a lack of reasons to believe.</p><p>..But there are also those people, (especially vocal anti-theists and the likes), to whom their atheism is actually one hell of a lot more than that! People who actively think there is no God of any kind, (or anything worthy of being called "God"), and that there is nothing more to this reality than what can be physically detected using scientifically reproducible, empirical means... If you ask me, that very much is its own positive worldview, and its own positive belief about what this reality is, or what it can and cannot be... But of course, even amongst atheists like that, there are varying degrees of certainty! Some of them merely think there probably isn't anything more to it, (which is a weak/agnostic belief), while others will claim to KNOW that all believers are full of sh*t, and will categorically state that no God could possibly exist! I've also looked into game design a lot, and I'm not entirely sure it is for, considering math is not my strong suit.
