Question: Are stupid people happier? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:55 AM PST People who are content being ignorant do not deserve greater knowledge. Now there are people with a consistent set of values much different from others, sometimes we call them stupid, brash and mistaken it for plain jackassery. But, to them, it's just their way of seeing things.
Question: What is the theoretical opposite of Naturalism? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:26 AM PST The naturalist will say "The light is refracting off the water droplets causing the spectrum of colors arching in the atmosphere." The children of God see a rainbow and are reminded of God's love. The naturalist will say "The water is boiling because the molecules are bouncing off one another being excited by the heating process causing the rolling action." But I say "The water is boiling because I want a cup of tea." The bigger and more REAL truth about why the water is boiling, is also the more HUMAN truth. I despise naturalists. They are extremely irritating.
Question: What is the distinction between Virtue and Value? Posted: 18 Feb 2016 08:11 AM PST First of all "virtue" is a noun only and "value" is both a noun and a verb. Also, "value" has more than one primary meaning. "Values" is about ethics, wheras "value" is about how much something is worth (not quite the same thing). Some people don't value values but that isn't very virtuous.
