Not sure what you mean, "merging" melodies? Does this mean you want to combine them one after the other, or borrow one note or phrase from one melody then follow it with one note or phrase from another melody, etc.?

And just curious, what is the goal of doing this? Why would you want to do this? Sorry, not trying to be difficult or challenging of your idea, just trying to get some insight into what your thought process is.
