| Posted: 23 Jul 2016 01:11 AM PDT I think resilience is different for everybody. Not everyone can be resilient and have the knowledge, support, wealth or good name to bring themselves out a rut. Death is a part of life. People experience life all too differently sometimes things just do not change for some people. We should learn to see it as a form of kindness. Not everyone understands the amount of pain some of us go through even if a crowd of people who claim they've felt suicidal, each and every one of those people carry different weights of heaviness. To some it's their families whom they will be with forever, to some it's the guilt of having done something and they choose not to carry it for decades. In addition there are already millions of people who commit suicide without assistance, the social acceptance won't make any difference because people who commit suicide are social recluses. There is no one who care enough to stop them because no one has ever genuinely cared for them in decades. It's really a grieve loss for no body only that it will damage their family's reputation, but that has always been a top their feelings since the day they were born. If we don't want people killing themselves, show care when they're still alive and trying to balance emotional abuse and adapting to social norms, because that's not easy to do over your entire life time. |
