| Question: What glow in the dark paints and/or sticks ACTUALLY work? Posted: 22 Jul 2016 11:21 AM PDT The glow paints absorb light and slowly release it. To recharge most glow paints all you have to do is expose it to direct sunlight for a few seconds. Then again, few of the paints are very prominent except in the dark. The ones that glow for like 20 hours are radioactive but in low enough concentration to be generally safe. One of the thing I did to make a cheap glow paint is to buy the powder (about $.99 per color and a little goes a very long way) and mix it with a fix all adhesive. Then you can paint the adhesive onto a hard plastic and peel it off if needed. |
