Lella and Clare are sisters. Elizabeth and Samuel are first cousins. Adam is Elizabeth's son, Lella's grandson, Clare's grandnephew, and Samuel's first cousin once removed.

Unless the aunt is through marriage (the wife of a parent's brother), then there technically is no relation.

You are a first cousin once removed to your first cousins' children as your grandparents are their great grandparents. Thus one generation different. You are also a first cousin once removed to your parents' first cousins as their grandparents are your great grandparents.
