| Question: Dancing tips/input needed please? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 10:15 AM PDT I really enjoy doing "sexy" or "erotic" style dancing for my guy and stuff. However, I KNOW I'm not warming up properly. I can tell because when I'm alone and doing some "practice runs" to see what I like best sing-wise and move-wise, I will feel my legs getting kind of a "tired" feeling. I want to be able to just move on flawless and not cramp up or pull something. So what are some good "warm-ups" I should be doing to get my body ready before I begin a dance routine? Speaking of "routines", is it ok to just "freestyle" to a song? I sometimes feel like I'm being a little silly and am just doing "random" moves and it's unattractive because I'm not organized enough or something. I don't want to seem "clumsy" or like I'm just winging it because I have no clue what I'm doing. So is there an easy method of piecing together a routine to a song - like matching up moves to the beat and stuff? How can help yourself decide what goes best with what? And I definitely want to have PLENTY of songs to pick from so things are never boring and it's always a mystery... but how can I pick a separate dance for EVERY song? I wouldn't want to do the same moves every single time I dance or that may be a bit lame/boring. Thanks for any tips I receive! |

| Question: I don't know whether or not to continue dancing or do something else? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 05:47 AM PDT I've always loved dancing and watching other people dance, but i never really got into it until i turned eleven, i'm fourteen now. i'm a freestyle kind of dancer, i don't really take classes, never had until this year. my friends say i'm a good dancer and ask how i get so good and i say i have classes because i don't know how to explain. i've always done my own dancing until now, my parents don't really approve of me dancing as a career choice and i myself am starting to doubt that decision. my school has dance as an extra curricular activity but i didn't join because i don't really like that team. i hated ballet when i was young, sure there are some moves i can do but the stiffness and toe pointing really gets to me and i know some people keep saying that ballet is basic but i find it too... much of discipline. i just don't know what to do. |
