| Question: What exactly is Rainbow Bridge? Posted: 15 Sep 2015 03:11 PM PDT There is more than one interpretation to the term, and "Actual" is subjective and interpretive. You might consider this age old myth, still used situationally. A pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Some may compare Rainbow bridge to Heaven, and an afterlife. I actually find it an enjoyable poem. 5 ft 7 Texas Heaven · 2 hours ago

| Question: How to understand poetry? Posted: 15 Sep 2015 03:06 PM PDT Do you mean the language, the structures / forms / certain rules, the metaphors, analogies, rhyme schemes, deeper meanings perhaps subtley expressed? What exactly do you have a problem with in understanding? Poetry, for those of us deeply involved, is a method and means to express what we might not in usual, casual, or very meaningful discourse. |
| Question: Is this poem okay, and how can i improve it? Posted: 15 Sep 2015 12:45 PM PDT A couple suggestions, and the piece expresses what many feel. Soundless noise, strings of chaos interlaced in an ordered pattern, (interlace) |
| Question: What are some examples of metaphors from the poem "The Names" by Billy Collins? Posted: 15 Sep 2015 11:55 AM PDT If you knew what a "metaphor" was, you wouldn't be asking this. There's one right there in the first line of the poem, for example. No, we're not going to do your homework for you. |
