Question: Are morals relative to a person's culture? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 05:19 AM PDT Yes and No. Different cultures have different morals. Things are acceptable today that were not acceptable a hundred or even fifty years ago. You would have to be very blind and uninformed to not see the increasingly decadent behavior of society. Decadence - Moral or cultural decline characterized by excessive indulgence in pleasure or luxury. In other words, there is a decline in morality with an increase in self-indulgence or luxury. Society today attempts to fulfill every wish at the push of a button, but at what cost? Hardships are a part of life and a part of learning. We suppress these physical hardships and replace them with mental hardships which cause disease and suffering. While morals may be relative to culture, I do believe there are Absolute morals that are innate which guide our cultural morals. Platonic examples of these may include Truth, Beauty, Justice, and Equality. Absolute morals reflect themselves to different degrees in relative culture.
Question: Does true freedom in life arise at the same moment as the death of the ego? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 03:50 AM PDT Please explain how "true freedom in life" is different from regular freedom. Also what kind of freedoms you actually mean. How can death of the ego mean to gain freedom?
Posted: 17 Sep 2015 02:15 AM PDT It is not. In this life we make a choice between obedience to God or Satan. If we believe in Son of God Jesus Christ and repent of sins and evils and do good, then He will guide us to eternal life in God's Kingdom of Heaven. But those who live by Satan's influence will be condemned to eternal lake of fire, separated from God. Though if Gandhi said so his actions contradicts his claims, REPLY: It shows that Gandhi had no full truth from God, speaking something that sounded good, Or the murderer of Gandhi by using same quote would think it was important to kill Gandhi,
