| Question: Is it bad that the instructor ask if still dancing after my audition? Posted: 13 Sep 2015 09:19 AM PDT I recently auditioned for a part in the nutcracker & I haven't been dancing for a while or have been practicing as much as I should. So after the audition she asked If I was still dancing. Do you think she asked because of my bad dancing ? In my opinion I think I did great at the audition for just learning the dance when most of the girls who go to the school originally knew the dance already. |

| Question: How to make Footundeez more SLIPPERY? Posted: 13 Sep 2015 01:35 AM PDT I don't think you are crazy but I do think your teacher might be. Why would your teacher want you to wear those? Those are meant for recreational dancers who can't dance barefoot because it hurts their feet too much. Wearing those prevents building the necessary callouses so eventually when you dance barefoot it doesn't hurt. The callouses you build on the balls of your feet also help you turn. Have you ever seen a professional dancer wear those? Of course not. And competition dance is not professional dance either as they do wear them there. I mean dancers who get paid and dance for a living. Edit: if you have callouses on the balls of your feet than wearing Footundeez is like someone who can already ride a bike having to put training wheels back on. It is just stupid! |
