| Question: Do thighs need to touch in first position in ballet? Posted: 14 Nov 2016 04:56 PM PST In first position, my thighs are not touching. I know it looks a lot better and in alignment when the thighs are touching, but I can't get them to, and instead have a large gap. Nobody has said anything about them not touching in class, but I'd still like some opinions. Thanks! |

| Posted: 14 Nov 2016 02:28 AM PST I know there is an Armenian community in Los Angeles, but I don't know about Georgians. If there is, that would be the place to start looking. Possibly there are church groups that teach dancing. If not, try Georgian restaurants. They may have dancing entertainment and you can ask there. edit: Contact Georgian St Nicholas Orthodox Church for information on finding dance classes. There are also some Georgian restaurants, but I don't know if they offer entertainment. Nonetheless, Georgian food is wonderful! The rest is up to you: Google is your friend. |
