Question: Does Consciousness exist? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 08:56 AM PST It depends on what you mean by "Consciousness". We certainly do think about ourselves and what we are doing and how we do it. Where consciousness is an illusion is when some claim to be able to change belief or other just by willing it. NB:
Question: What are the moral obligations of the strong towards the weak? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 08:53 AM PST Life has always favored the strong, those who bravely face the struggles of life and accept the challenge of the same without fear of death. Such persons should, in the natural order, rule however, even the herdsman has obligation to the sheep as well as to all of the herd. What obligations and moral considerations should the strong give to the weak?

Posted: 23 Nov 2016 07:39 PM PST Well. It depends. Is it a self-generated doubt i.e. (Originally Created Doubt = O.C.D) or you have been induced by some mischief mongers to raise this question in Philosophy. People living in glass house should remain more careful. There is the fear of stone-throwing by unscrupulous elements in society. I have no idea about your present mental confusion.
Question: Silence confers meaning to reality? Why? How? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 03:48 PM PST Yes. That is why silence is considered Golden. Quote: "We sit silently and watch the world around us. This has taken a lifetime to learn. It seems only the old are able to sit next to one another and not say anything and still feel content. The young, brash and impatient, must always break the silence. It is a waste, for silence is pure. Silence is holy. It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking. This is the great paradox." Unquote:
