Posted: 19 Nov 2016 08:17 PM PST . Could be fret buzz, so you do not or did not want adjust strings until you found problem, because now you may have made matters worse by overtightening and warping neck, even though the next may already warped or out of alignment, you would be wiser to loosen string and check neck and frets and bridge and nut, play each string separately and down each fret one by one to find location of raised frets in bow in neck, If you can not adjust bridge or or next is fixed, you may have to take to shop to check.

Question: Whats the best way to clean green oxidation of guitar frets on a maple fingerboard? Posted: 19 Nov 2016 03:08 PM PST Fine steel wool would work, but really the guitar neck/finger board needs to be refreted. Not recommended for a lay person. Take it to a guitar shop that has a luthier. They can refret the whole fingerboard and clean it up properly.
Posted: 19 Nov 2016 02:01 PM PST Size, confusingly, refers to two different things. When you talk about full size versus 3/4 size guitar, you're referring to scale length. That's the distance from nut to saddle, which is the length of the part of the string that vibrates. A full size guitar has a scale length of 24 1/2" to 25 1/2". You are tall enough for a full size guitar. Within full size acoustic guitars there are different *body* sizes. The largest sizes are called jumbo and dreadnought. Middle sizes are called auditorium, 000, and OM. The smallest sizes are called grand concert, parlor, 00, and 0. Go to a well stocked music store and try the middle and small sizes until you find one that feels and sounds right. Good luck!
Question: Connecting a subwoofer to a Fender Mustang I guitar amp? Posted: 19 Nov 2016 12:34 PM PST My Fender Mustang I guitar amp offers a 3.5mm audio jack input in addition to the standard 1/4in guitar jack. The amp is the only speaker I own with decent sound quality at higher volumes. As such, I use it as my primary speaker for music at gatherings/events. My only complaint I have with the amp being used for this purpose is that it is fairly lacking bass. I figure the logical way to fix this is to wire a subwoofer up to it. I was wondering if this would be possible and, if so, how? The sub would preferably be powered. The amp has 1/4in guitar and 3.5mm audio input jacks, as well as a 1/4in guitar FTSW jack and a 3.5mm output jack. Thanks in advance!
