| Question: What is the opposite of force !? Posted: 23 Dec 2015 05:55 AM PST If one defines "force," one has answers. What is your understanding of "force"? It may be "human pushiness", in which case the polar opposite of force is "power" (as delineated in David R. Hawkins' "Power vs Force"). If one defines force in atomistic terms, "force = Energy." Then, the opposite of kinetic Energy is potential Energy, i.e. velocity vs location, with kinetic being a force relative to environment, and potential force not presently relative to environment.

| Question: Philosophical question concerning killing of civilians? Posted: 23 Dec 2015 03:22 AM PST As a Christian and a bible student, I know that only God can change things for the better by means of his Kingdom government. It is a righteous government that will reverse conditions here on earth and restore it to paradise. God's rule will remove all the wicked from the earthly scene. (Ps. 37:1, 2, 9) Man's rule has led to incessant warfare, but God's rule will make "wars to cease to the extremity of the earth." (Ps. 46:9) God's rule will even restore peace between humans and animals! (Isa. 11:6-9) Poverty and hunger have been constant features under human rule, but God's rule will eliminate them. (Isa. 65:21) Even human rulers having the best of intentions have been unable to remove sickness and death, but under God's rule, the old and the sick will delight in a return to youthful vigor. (Job 33:25; Isa. 35:5, 6) Indeed, the earth will become a paradise in which there will even be a resurrection of the dead.—Luke 23:43; Acts 24:15. So my opinion is I'm sitting back and waiting for God to act in behalf of all the people who are suffering. |
| Question: Do you think you are the physical embodiment of destiny wanting to fulfill itself? Posted: 23 Dec 2015 02:18 AM PST No. I don't think there's any "fulfilling". I don't think anything can be fully explored. I think it's all about the exploring and discovering and, yes, I think reality is exploring and discovering itself, through a variety of perspectives. What reality actually "is" doesn't matter. All that matters is that we're a part of it, whatever it is, and we PERCEIVE. Therefore, reality perceives itself, through US. |

| Posted: 23 Dec 2015 01:32 AM PST Anger is an over-reaction, it's aggression, rather than being assertive, and that's key. An aggressive person makes enemies, and that's the 'metaphysical weight', even if they're winning right now, they're putting in a lot of mileage conflict-wise, and some of it, will come back at them, over, and over again. It's why in nature aggressive animals die the quickest, even quicker than weak, and timid animals. For people the same applies, aggression hurts you in the longrun, and it hurts the people around you, which is why people tend to advice others to not be aggressive. |
