Question: Feedback on my poem, please?

Rigor Mortis
Under the shadows of the moon,
whispers spin
all through the air.

This wind wants to return
to the seas and
wrap the ice,
like a long gone ghost.

My heart,
that rotten portrait of
feelings, fears and
blood
still reaches back with
purple signs of
knives, fists and
fingers.

Me, wandering I remain;
lifeless body looking at the thousand stars,
aimlessly drifting with
the currents of the dark.

Spreading are my memories of death
with a spark of fire,
swinging my feet on water,
and I remember that night
in which I felt those fingers
bending,
and becoming one
with my being.

I could've yelled out,
I could've fought,
but this love I have for you
silenced my voice
and numbed my strength.

You have all of me.

And gradually my soul
starting running away towards this moon
as warmth left my home.

Wandering I remain,
walking on salty water.

Question: Can you guys write me a full on holiday song about Trump?

I'll give you a hint, you choose to do some of the work yourself, or not.

If you know, and can hum the song Danny boy, this will fit well. "Oh Donny boy, your hair, your hair is blowing, as are your chances to be president."

Question: I need some inspiration to write my mom a poem/story for Christmas. Any ideas? Thanks. :)?

Dear Mom and Dad
Of the favorite memories of our family,
Mom and Dad,
Christmas rekindles all the best we've ever had~
The wonderful traditions you taught us,
And we kept from year to year
Added to each Holiday
To make it's meaning clear.
Your warmth, smiles and laughter
Kept us eager to believe
In the magic and wonder
That was part of Christmas Eve,
And though Christmas
Have come and gone,
It seems that wishes did come true,
In the lasting love our family shares
Because of the caring by both of you.

Merry Christmas
Now that it's Christmas
I really have to say
Thank you Mom for all you do
In your quiet efficient way

I don't know how I'd cope
Without you by my side
I know that life would be
A very bumpy ride

As the seasons come and go
And Christmas time arrives
It takes the festive season
To make me realize

I do not take the time to say
I appreciate all you do
So a very Merry Christmas, Mom
And lots of love to you!

Merry Christmas Mom!
It's a mother's way to understand
The things that go unsaid,
The loving words we'd like to say,
But just think about instead,
So, Mother, hope you'll know this wish
On Christmas Day for you
Is from the heart with lots of love
And deep affection, too!

Have a Wonderful Christmas, Mother

Christmas Wish for Mom and Dad!
This special Christmas wish
That comes with love to you
Brings warm and heartfelt thanks
For all the thoughtful things you do--

It also comes to let you know
You both mean more each day
To everyone your lives have touched
In such a loving way.

Happy Christmas, Mum (Mom) and Dad
With Love!

Merry Christmas Mom!
A mother's heart is a special place
Where children have a home
That waits for them throughout the years
No matter where they roam --
A home that's filled with happiness,
Where peace and love abide,
A home it's good to come to
With doors that open wide.
A mother's hear is a tender place,
For mothers truly care,
And children know they're free to come
To leave their troubles there.
It's a mother's way
to understand
The things that go unsaid,
The loving words we'd like to say,
But just think about instead,
So, Mother, hope you'll know this wish
On Christmas Day for you
Is from the heart with lots of love
And deep affection, too

A very Merry Christmas, Mum

For Mom and Dad
This special Christmas wish
That comes with love to you
Brings warm and heartfelt thanks
For all the thoughtful things you do--

It also comes to let you know
You both mean more each day
To everyone your lives have touched
In such a loving way!
Happy Christmas, Mom and Dad
With Love!

Merry Christmas to greatest parents in the world
A very Merry Christmas
To a lovely Mum and Dad
Here's hoping that this year's
Will be the best you've ever had.
There's so much I should thank you for
So many things you've done
You put the warmth in Christmas
All the laughter and the fun.
Enjoy this special season
And here's a Christmas toast
To the greatest parents in the world
The ones who mean the most

Question: I need help analyzing a poem?

Posted: 17 Dec 2015 12:15 PM PST

For my AP Language class I need to analyze the poem "The Heavenly City" by Stevie Smith. The poem is a bit confusing to me. The poem is as follows:

I sigh for the heavenly country,
Where the heavenly people pass,
And the sea is as quiet as a mirror
Of beautiful beautiful glass.

I walk in the heavenly field,
With lilies and poppies bright,
I am dressed in a heavenly coat
Of polished white.

When I walk in the heavenly parkland
My feet on the pasture are bare,
Tall waves the grass, but no harmful
Creature is there.

At night I fly over the housetops,
And stand on the bright moony beams;
Gold are all heaven's rivers,
And silver her streams."

I m having trouble finding what the speaker is trying to convey to the audience. Please help.
