| Question: Why are copic markers too expensive? Where can i get them a little more cheaper? Posted: 05 Dec 2015 11:07 AM PST An alternative would be Letraset Promarkers markers. They're good if you're just starting out and wish to experiment. The best thing to do is either to buy a starter pack with popular colours, or to select your own limited palette (like shades of blue, grey, etc to use for shading before trying full colour). Copic markers are arguably the best, hence their price, but ideally you build up your set over time instead of bulk buying. Source(s): I'm an illustrator, and I use both Promarkers and Copic Markers

| Question: Is international orange closer to perfect orange, or closer to perfect red? Posted: 05 Dec 2015 10:27 AM PST apparently its more than one color. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internatio... some of those i see as more orange, but most i see as more red. color perception is pretty different from human to human, so a scientific description based on the wavelength of that light, or the hex code used to create it on a computer is not necessarily going to match up with what you actually see or what your friend actually sees. you can experiment with several tests here: |
