Question: Sad, slow songs about secrets? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 11:58 AM PST Sad, slow songs about secrets? trying to go a little bit more into detail, more than my last question. I can't think of any songs for a contemporary dance. The story, as stated in my previous question is that a girl is writing/ reading a letter, and she doesnt want anyone to read it. throughout the dance, people keep taking it from her, and she fights to get it back. at the end, she rips it up so no one else can read it. i need some songs that can convey this message.
Question: Street dancer !!help? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 09:55 AM PST I am not a breakdancer I'm a Popper (Streetdance style) but the main piece of advice I can give you which universal for all dancers, which will help you as a Breaker is to just stretch thoroughly, perhaps for longer in legs, just to make sure the muscles and joints are loose. Peace :)
Question: Tips on ballet turns? Posted: 17 Nov 2014 07:29 PM PST •Pull up into your releve and passe. As soon as you start the turn, pull up so that your leg isn't left hanging. •Keep your knees straight to avoid wobbling. •Pull your stomach up to balance longer. •Keep your arms in position. Even though they may not seem so important, they actually are. Make sure to keep them directly in front of you and to pull them with you, don't leave them hanging.
