Question: I am a veteran i will be buried at a va cemetary can my daughter be buried with me? Posted: 11 Nov 2014 04:58 PM PST If your daughter is your dependent child when she passes - yes, she can. Spouses can be buried there as well. If there is space available - even if daughter is NOT a dependent , again yes she can. "Burial in a VA national cemetery is available for eligible Veterans, spouses and dependents at no cost and includes the gravesite, grave-liner, opening and closing of the grave, a headstone or marker, and perpetual care as part of a national shrine. For Veterans, ben efits may also include a burial flag and military funeral honors." http://www.va.gov/opa/publications/benef... I KNOW this for a FACT because my cousin who was 18 when she passed is buried at VA National Cemetery. Her Dad was buried along side of her 20 some years later. Her mom is still alive. Also - if your daughter is NOT a dependent -- there still may be space available -- you will have to pay for the lot. There is space available at many national cemeteries.. Good Luck
Question: How can you find a minor online free? Posted: 11 Nov 2014 04:28 PM PST If he went into Foster care he may still have the same name or if he was taken by his Mother, he may have her name. Either way you could try to find him through social media or he may contact you when he turns 18. You have to be aware that if you make contact with him, it will be up to him whether or not he wants a family relationship.
Question: Did Anglo Saxons have curly hair? Posted: 11 Nov 2014 01:54 PM PST I'm really curious. People always say that Anglo stereotypes are "blondes with straight hair and pale complexion", but almost everyone in my family has curls in their hair (and we all have ashy blond) I'm doing some research on my origins, and I'm starting to think I might have some mixes in my ancestry. Help?
Question: Is tom a western (white) surname? Posted: 11 Nov 2014 01:37 PM PST Yes. It's also a Chinese family name. Tom Name Meaning Polish: from a short form of the personal name Tomasz (see Thomas). Chinese: see Tan. Source: Dictionary of American Family Names ©2013, Oxford University Press The European ones mean that, instead of Thomason or Thompson, someone who was "Ralph, son of Tom", became "Ralph Tom".
Question: How do I change my last name? Posted: 11 Nov 2014 01:23 PM PST if ur female. u must marry someone with a last name u like.
Question: A question about Native American ancestry in the US.? Posted: 11 Nov 2014 12:28 PM PST There is really no "register as a native American in the US". Some tribes recognize some people as part of their Indian tribe depending on their own set of rules (it varies by tribes). If you are expecting to get any financial gain from this I think you're barking up the wrong tree. Even Indian reparations are few between, such as for the Cherokee's who walked the "trail of tears" (which I believe my great grandmother did). So, you can most likely register with that tribe in the US. If the US then recognizes you as a US citizen or not, I would tend to think no, but I'm not 100% sure. That's a different question. American Indian ancestry.
