| Question: Is your mind suppose to wander while meditating? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 08:54 AM PST
Update : I have just started meditating, on day 5 and I saw that maybe your mind could wander while meditating and to gently get it back to you or your body to focus once you catch it. |
| Question: When is hatred ever good? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 08:16 AM PST When it gives you strenght to fight for your life and against your enemies. If used sparingly it can give you great strength. Too much of it is determinal for health and the psyche. |
| Question: My hypothesis of creation? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 07:03 AM PST Instead of concocting such things, why not just study the proper disciplines, cosmology and astrophysics? No one is positiing that the universe came from "nothing". That's a common misconception. Instead, the Standard Model simply posits that a single point of very dense, very hot energy expanded ("inflated") to result in the universe we observe and live in. The standard model does not hypothesize as to the origin of this energy....Contemporary physics breaks down. There are hypotheses, but these are unsupported by evidence. |
| Question: What is the most important thing in life? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 06:43 AM PST Love, love above all things. Through love you will be filled with happiness, comfort, satisfaction, security, purpose. You must first be able to love yourself before you can begin to know how to share and receive love with others and love God who gave you all things including life which enabled you to love. |
| Question: Do passions drive us away from reality? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 06:36 AM PST Passions can inspire. A passion can also add an extra dimension to reality, either by making the world singularly beautiful (passionate love), or alter one's reality or perceptions, either in a creative or destructive way, or leading to delusional beliefs such as the possibility of a kind of Utopia for the world, often moving from the Ideal to the destructive in the attempt to achieve it. |
| Question: Can infinite regress be applied to anything? Posted: 18 Nov 2014 06:13 AM PST Anyone can believe in "a god" but unless it is the God of Jesus Christ and the power of the I know it sounds harsh, but we don't have thousands of gods, Either one believes or they don't. However, if one does not, So, go infinite regress all you want, the fact is, Jesus is Lord, |
