| Question: Interstellar in 70mm or IMAX? Posted: 10 Nov 2014 11:51 AM PST So I wanted to see Interstellar in 70mm IMAX format (watched a stupid promo video that got me hooked on the idea). However, the only place doing it nearby (BFI IMAX in London) is pretty much sold out for every showing. So, I have the choice of seeing it in normal digital IMAX...or, 70mm in Leicester Squrare (which is a premiere screen so I think pretty big anyway...but not IMAX). Can any cinema junkies give me some tips? Thanks |

| Question: What product can reinforce delicate wooden parts? Posted: 10 Nov 2014 11:38 AM PST I need some way to reinforce thin areas of a wooden clock. I thought to laminate some hemp linen onto the surface using some lacquer, strengthening the surface much like a glass fiber reinforcement would do. Aside from that kind of reinforcement is there another way to strengthen thin areas wood? There aren't many stress points on these areas, but if the clock were to be bumped or dropped they could easily chip. |
