| Question: Art GCSE Help! Mock!? Posted: 08 Nov 2014 11:14 AM PST
I'm currently doing my art mock and I need help. I'm doing self image, but i've narrowed it down to identity and I really want to do it based it on me and my sister who re identical twins but i have no clue on how to explore it or fill up my sketchbook. Someone help! |
| Posted: 08 Nov 2014 10:56 AM PST Are you allowed to include typographic portraits you did of celebrities (in photoshop) in your portfolio? I know it's a big deal for all work to be original because of the plagiarism laws that are involved. However, I see it more as showcasing your abilities, as it is not to be used commercially anyway. If you google typographic portraits, there are tons of really cool examples that other artists have done using portraits of celebs that other photographers have taken. Can something like that be included in a portfolio? Or must you hunt down the photographer and get their permission for use at all costs? |
| Question: Do you prefer black or blue ink? Posted: 08 Nov 2014 10:44 AM PST Black is more professional but I'll remember what I wrote down more if I do it in blue ink since it isn't the mainstream color I always use. |
