Question: Polymer Clay: TLS darkens when baked?

Posted: 17 Nov 2014 11:40 AM PST

Okay so for some reason, whenever I use TLS with my polymer clay food items (to make sauce, pies, etc), the TLS will darken when it is baked. So in the end, when I look at my creations after they've been baked, the color's tones are off.

From what I noticed, no one else has that problem. What do I do?

Question: How do you draw a balanced panel in comic pages?

How do you draw a balanced panel in comic pages?

You see, I draw comics and drawings on my spare time and when I draw comics or comic strips, I try to draw a balanced panel which mean that I try not to draw an oblique line while making a panel. It's a common mistake I make, when making a comic, I try not to make it though. When I make a comic (strip) or any other drawing, the first thing I do is to make a concept first. Once they're okay, I use my light table, a small one (I don't think I call it a light table (it's another version), I just don't know another word(s) to describe it as) to finish the comic or drawing with a thick paper. Sometimes, I can barely see through it so I ink the sketching paper first in that case. Anyhow, the oblique line(s) in panels of comic pages are the main issue and I've tried with every kind rulers, even the ones with angles, to make it/them straight. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't and I think I fail the most at this which is why I ask how you make panels with balanced lines in comic. Here's one of my latest colored comic strip (see the third panel with oblique lines both up and down) "http://andycat90.deviantart.com/art/Headless-Horror-491628168". If you know any techniques to draw straight lines in panels in comics or comic strips, please let me know. Note that I'm a traditional comic artist so I don't use computer to make comics or comic strips. I only use it to edit comics and drawings. Thanks in advance! :)
