Question: Did Anyone know that Kellogg cornflakes was invented to reduce masturbation?? Posted: 20 Aug 2015 07:52 AM PDT Yes, darling, quite a few people know about J.H. Kellog's obsession with that issue. It's been quite well documented by historians and biographers. Thanks, though, for giving us yet another example of what the historian George Tindall called "the hysterical rediscovery of the obvious."

Question: Question about Native American clothing.? Posted: 20 Aug 2015 07:13 AM PDT I've kind of been poking around out of curiosity today, but I'm having difficulties find an answer to one question in particular: How did Native Americans of the Northeast make waterproof clothing? I found that the Inuits used seal skin or intestines and the Indians of the Northwest used cedar bark, but I can't seem to find anything about the Indians of the American Northeast / Canadian Southeast. Obviously a tribe living somewhere in the middle of New England, nowhere near the Atlantic coast, wouldn't have access to seal hide. I wouldn't be surprised if they used some sort of tree bark, like those from the Northwest, but I can't seem to locate any information about it. So what did the Native Americans of the Northeast use to protect themselves against the rainy / wet weather?

Question: Are we on the brink of another Korean War? Posted: 20 Aug 2015 07:06 AM PDT This sort of thing happens all the time. Remember when the North Koreans sank a South Korean warship? Or when the North Koreans captured an American surveillance ship and held the crew hostage? How about when the United States and South Korea sent an armed force into the DMZ to cut down a tree? Minor artillery exchanges are pretty much a monthly occurrence.
