| Question: I need guitar help!? Posted: 28 Aug 2015 02:43 PM PDT Okay so I need to figure out a background part on my acoustic guitar for Super Mario World Ending theme. We already have piano, drums, violin, and another guitar part but I need help figuring a part out for myself. Something not too hard but still cool involving the penatonic scale and E, G, A, Dm, D, and C. |

| Question: My fingers too small for guitar? Posted: 28 Aug 2015 01:00 PM PDT Your problem may be the distance between the strings and the fretboard. Acoustic guitars can be difficult to play because the string must be pressed down so far. On your "baby" guitar, the string/fret spacing is probably much smaller, and you can play more easily and with a lighter touch. Try an electric guitar. I know that some purists will poo-poo this idea, but electrics are much easier to play for this reason. Pick one up in a pawn shop, try a few chords, and buy it if you like the feel of it. |
