Question: How can I find small roles in movies or tv shows as a kid.? Posted: 24 Aug 2015 10:06 PM PDT It pretty heavily depends on where you live, but you should start local. If you're in an area where they might cast for movies (like as an extra), you wanna make yourself a portfolio with headshots and stuff. You also wanna get some experience under your belt, so you could audition for plays also. Just look up/into local acting or theater gigs and you should find something. That should be enough to get you started (don't forget to take theater classes if/when you're in high school, that can be used in a portfolio as well).
Question: How to get Noticed at a young age for a acting carrier? Posted: 24 Aug 2015 09:42 PM PDT *career* To work professionally as an actor you need a good agent, and good agents scout drama schools for new talent. Yes, these are expensive, but why would a career in a profession cost nothing and be handed out to anyone who wants it? The acting industry is a business, so they want to see talent, but they want to see that you have proper training also. If your parents can't afford it, then you start saving up if it truly is what you want, and when you're 18 go to an accredited drama school with your own money. In the meantime, you can read plays and autobiographies of people in the industry and star understanding how acting works as a business, not just a child's dream. All the best.

Question: How to become an actress at 17/18? Posted: 24 Aug 2015 05:33 PM PDT Until you'd attended a good acting school for a few years, to learn all the basic stuff, a college course would be completely beyond you. It would be like starting an advanced math class when you haven't even learned addition and subtraction. And until you've studied acting for a while, and performed on stage many times, you wouldn't even know if you'd love acting enough to consider it as a career, or if you have any talent. And you should understand that it's rare for any actor to get more than 10 days' paid acting work a year. They all have to work an ordinary job alongside acting, just to survive.
