Question: What is the name of this Clarinet Solo? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 07:25 PM PDT Re-uploading this question because the link didn't work in my last one...I tested this one and hopefully it works. If not, please let me know and I will fix it. I really enjoyed playing this piece in high school a few years back, but I can't think of the name. I know that seems silly, haha, but I just have a terrible memory. >.< If anyone can help me out with the name, I would greatly appreciate it! Here is the video: http://sta.sh/01tpwzn8jby8

Question: Do girls usually wear dresses when performing bluegrass music? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 06:26 PM PDT I'm a banjo player, and will be performing live at a festival with a few other musicians during an open-mic event before the actual scheduled bands come to perform. We don't have an official band yet, but I am trying to form one. We've all been jamming together recently with various others, too. Should I wear a dress while on stage?
Question: Can I turn an Electric Guitar into a Lap Steel Guitar? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 05:27 PM PDT Hello there, Yes. Get an extension nut. That raises the strings so you can play it like a slide guitar. Those are cheap. Hawaiian guitar normally has a different tuning that standard tuning. You can tune for guitar for that.
Question: Can I install new strap pins onto my electric guitar? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 05:00 PM PDT Nearly everything I do is right handed, until it comes to playing guitar, then I am a lefty. More than enough reasons to say, I love playing on right handed guitars. Its not a huge issue, but I am getting a new guitar today, the Rogue Rocketeer RR100, as a little test guitar in case I mess up. I want to install a strap pin to where its more accessible to me and the strap isn't all janked up. How do I start the process of installing new strap pins? what should I need to know so I do not mess up this guitar?
Question: I got a new violin today and while I was tuning it, the A string began breaking!! Help!!? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 04:44 PM PDT I won't lecture you on trying to learn the violin without a teacher. The issue with a string breaking could be from many reasons. Here are a few: Operator error String wrapped improperly Low quality strings Poorly cut bridge or nut grooves Poorly fit pegs You may need to take it to a repair shop to figure out the problem. Knowing where exactly the string is breaking is useful, so don't throw it away. Post a pic if you can.
