Those big angled cuirasses that you see on conquistadors was the ideal for stopping musket shots because it would reflect some, and angled armor is artificially thicker head-on. Musket shots didn't travel very fast and they weren't the knight-killee everyone thinks it was.the gun did, however, lead to a style of warfare that made knights a lot less important |
