| Posted: 04 Oct 2014 03:51 PM PDT PLEASE HELP 3. Compare and contrast William Shakespeare's "Sonnet 116" and Edna St. Vincent Millay's "Love is not all."? 3. How are the two poems similar? How are they different? Use specific examples from the works to support your answer. |
| Question: This is romantic or corny? Posted: 04 Oct 2014 03:15 PM PDT Its both. To some it is cliche. To others its deep. The stars hyperbole is overused, some would say. It is highly dependent on your intended audience. Your poem does have some lovely moments.. The beauty of your deep eyes is a lovely line. I dont like the repeated use of Is as a starting word. You could be more creative there. Of course, this is just my humble opinion. I am not qualified to say what is or is not right. I think writing is a great skill and hobby so I hope you dont take offense. My intention is not in any way to put you off writing, quite the opposite. Feel free to rip my poem, in my questions, apart. Peace |
