| Question: How are the cultures of each of the countries in Western Europe similar to each other? Posted: 22 Oct 2014 07:18 AM PDT Not really. Spain, France, Germany, Itally all had a different history, different culture, etc. Which is why they all think quite differently about the Euro and the European Community. Germany is frugal, hard working, industrious. The other three are far more laid back. The social contract is far stronger in the other three, so they have a tendency for more socialist policies, they also have a habit of running a far greater national debt. |
