Where can I take beginner acting classes in Edmonton?

I would like to start taking acting lessons outside of school, to be more outgoing and stuff, but I can't seem to find simple weekly classes in Edmonton... Any of you know any places in Edmonton for beginner acting classes?

Question: I perform better when I'm high? How do I keep it up?

You don't keep it up. You stop - right now.
If you need a little weed now to act well, you'll need larger and larger amounts as the months go by.
Then, weed won't work at all and you'll need something stronger.
Then you try speed, or coke or whatever, and you'll need larger and larger quantities over the next year or two - and then you'll be dead.

Learn to act while you're in complete control of yourself.
Weed just makes you think that you're good, having fun, and talented. But it's not real.
If you acted well having smoked a little, that was just in your imagination. You don't need it. Weed (or any other drug) can't make you a better actor. You evidently have the talent already. You just need the confidence to use it.

And if you're planning on an acting career, quit altogether, right now.
Many studios and theatres will alcohol and drug-test you on a regular basis, and if just once you're found to be under the influence, you'll have completely destroyed your career - for ever.
No-one wants to work with an actor who can't perform without drugs.

You know I'm right. Quit. Now.

Question: How does using a stage or professional name work?

A couple of useful answers here

You might also file a Doing Business As name which might cost you about $75 then open a separate bank account for it.

I would have questions about whether you can have IRS employee status under an alias. Or would have to be a consultant paying an extra 15% self employment tax.

Question: Would you see a Broadway play twice?

Would you see a Broadway play twice?

Every year my mom takes me and my sister to a Broadway show for Christmas. I say wicked this past winter with someone else, not her, and I want her to see it so bad, and see it again myself. She protests though because "I've already seen it." Do you think it's ridiculous that I would ask to see a play a second time? I really loved it and downloaded all the music onto my iPod. Thanks.
