Did you tie the strings securely around the bridge? Nylon strings can be kinda slippery, even at the tuners, unless they're really snugly wound on there.

I have done this before. The only problem is not all the sound frequencies will be picked up by the amp so well.After all its made for guitar.
Your best bet is to use a Bass-amp and boost you Casio's bass sound.
Either way you can still do it and it will likely sound better.

In high school, enroll in guitar class(most high school have them). then it will be a required instrument for the class. You can also rent the guitar classes guitars for like $30 a year. Get a cheapo Ibanez Gio on Craigslist or Ebay, or a Squier affinity, very inexpensive but EXCELLENT guitar for the money.
