Question: What sort of things does working clay do to your hands? Posted: 16 Oct 2014 11:11 AM PDT What sort of things does working clay do to your hands? Need to know for purposes of story writing. What sort of effects does regularly working potter's clay (throwing pots and making sculptures both) have on a person's hands and nails, and if there are bad effects, what sort of things do people do to mitigate or soothe them?

Is it a good idea to take sandpaper to glass before spray painting it? Or would I just be fine to leave it smooth? |
Question: Does Prang Tempera Paint Stain Clothes? Posted: 16 Oct 2014 10:47 AM PDT The club I am President of is doing a Shirt Making event and we only have a limited amount of Fabric Puff Paint to use. Our shipment of more paint won't be here in time for us to do our event so I have to compromise. I managed to find a bottle of Prang Ready-To-Use Tempera Paint. I hear Tempera paint washes out of clothes typically but these bottles don't say anything about being WASHABLE so I'm not quite sure. Would these still be good to use for painting shirts or no? Update : About a month ago I was wearing a white shirt (it's my throw away shirt for crafts) and managed to get paint on my hands which led to paint getting onto my shirt. Even after several washes some of the colors still stayed on the shirt. And I used the Prang Tempera Paint like I mentioned above that doesn't say it's washable. So would this paint be ideal for the mean time since we don't have Fabric Paint yet?
Question: Where can i find patterns to design a costume? Posted: 16 Oct 2014 10:36 AM PDT Okay I should rephrase this. I have a very big bust and I know that those two places since i have already looked there do not have any patterns that go up to my size. I have also tried target, kmart, and a few other places. That is why I asked on here hoping someone could give me a place or website. Thanks for your replies. I have to make my own because stores don't make my size and a costume shop more like several told me that if I wanted a costume in my size it would cost me extra for the material and sizing's and fittings and for rush order. So please someone out there Tell me where I can go.
Posted: 16 Oct 2014 10:17 AM PDT Yes, Kiss Anime is one of the best anime streaming sites around. It allows you to watch it (stream it) in HD, download in HD, etc. Plus, the download times on Kiss Anime tend to be less than other sites. The only flaw I can think of is that you can't block ads. Other than that, it's a great site! I personally use it!
