| Question: Ayn Rand "Anthem" questions!? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 09:20 AM PDT
Update : 1.) What does Ayn Rand mean when she states "man's value judgments that leads to man's emotions"? |
| Question: What weakness made it impossible to pay for war? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 09:14 AM PDT Its never been a problem in UK, we just borrow whatever is required from the Americans. Our government bleeds us dry to "close the deficit" and cant even do that. What they seem to forget is that until they do, and then generate a surplus, the national debt is just going to keep growing. Its rather like a payday lone that isn't paid back, it just keeps growing at an ever increasing rate, and the problem just keeps getting worse. Better just find another war to fight, just to take the voters mind of it! Just put it on the bill! |
| Question: Are humans becoming more violent or more peaceful over time? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 08:44 AM PDT These days there are a wide range of efficient accessories available. I dont suppose they are any more violent, but there are a lot more of them. |
| Question: Why are there so many negative people in this world?? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 08:40 AM PDT There are many reasons to be negative. There is little cause to have hope, for all things in man's power are invariably corrupted. We feel the magnitude of these evils and minimize them through several techniques, but inherently they still hold us to a certain cynicism or a certain doubt. We each struggle with this. What gives cause for any person to have hope is rare and special, the more if it is lasting. |
| Posted: 30 Oct 2014 08:35 AM PDT I always figured I would go to KFC and be like, hey im homeless but if you let me sleep here and eat chicken, I will work here for half minimum wage. If he needs a further incentive, I would inform him that he can keep the other half. I would use this base of operations to look for a better job and a new home. |
| Question: Why do I laugh sometimes for no reason even though Im sad? Posted: 30 Oct 2014 08:32 AM PDT When I'm sad, I'm kinda in my own world and theres those negative thoughts. But then I start thinking about something ridicilous or see something ridicilous or hear someone say something that isnt even that funny but i find it funny for no reason, and then i just uncontrollably laugh and I have a really wierd laugh, and its so embarrasing because its not even that funny. And i get all red and people looks at me wierdly lol It sometimes happens too even though Im not sad, but I can control my self more I think when Im happy idk. Lol, why am I like this |
