Question: I want to teach young children Ballet, how do I start?

Have rich parents.

Lets be honest here. The only real qualification most ballet or dance teachers have is a career in ballet or dance, usually a failed one.

Which means most ballet studios are owned by people who had the money to run one and the sales skills to convince parents to pay for such lessons. They pay their teachers minimal amounts, even the good places.

So I'd suggest getting an education degree, specializing in young children. That way you can draw a real salary in case you're unable to find a community of wealthy parents willing to pay top dollar for dance lessons. Think about it, if you were such a parent, who would you be more likely to go with, the unemployed dancer or someone who can also point at teaching credentials.

With such a degree, you can market yourself as a teacher, who also can teach ballet.

Rather than a ballet teacher who can also serve coffee.

I'm doing a modern/contemporary dance, but some dubstep/house music is fine to work with. I'm going for a James Bond Theme, and I need some music that would work well. Thanks
