If you could just listen to this recording (it's pretty back quality), but I need some constructive criticism for an upcoming audition for the part of Grace in the musical Annie.
Much Appreciation!

Question: Why did Conservatives tell Rosa Parks to get out of her seat?

Posted: 20 Oct 2014 08:49 PM PDT

Pure and simple racism: Colored people were not allowed to take any seat just anywhere on the bus.

.They were told to sit in the back of the bus, away from the whites...

Rosa Parks said no way, and rode off into history.

Question: How do I ask my mom to let me take acting lessons?

Posted: 20 Oct 2014 07:11 PM PDT

Acting classes are a good place to start. You could try being specific - find a class you want to take and then ask her about it. Maybe look at the websites of local theaters to see what they offer. Keep an eye out about local summer acting camps or programs in your area. Have something specific to ask her about. If you do thy work first it shows her that this really is important for you to try.

Remind your mother that being involved in acting and theater can teach you many life skills even if you don't do it at a professional level. You learn presentation skillet, how to work with others, how to listen, and many other things.

Good luck

Question: What should I do for my audition?

What should I do for my audition?

So, the play is called "Almost, Maine" and it's kind of a romantic comedy and it has several different little stories in one, but I was wondering, what should I do for the audition? It's not a musical, but what do you think the casting directors would want to see? I know it's not very wise to ask on yahoo answers for stuff like this, but I need whatever help I can get. Thank you very much. (I'm 14 by the way, so nothing inappropriate or weird :/)
