Hi, I'm a cultural exchange student from Pakistan to USA and I was making a video that is basically a slideshow of my different experiences here. What would be good songs to put in background? |
| Question: What are your thoughts on animal captivity in circuses? Posted: 26 Oct 2014 08:49 AM PDT Its cruel, unnecessary and in no way entertainment. When i was in school, around 12 years old, my English teacher told me about a friend she had that was a journalist. He was doing an article about an animal circus and had to spend some time there during the day before any shows were taking place. He walked around one corner and there was an elephant chained by one foot to the ground and a man with a cattle prod continuously jabbing it at the elephant for no reason whatsoever, The journalist asked him to stop and told him that it was cruel, but the man laughed and continued. My teacher's friend then looked at the elephant and saw a genuine tear fall from its eye. Long story short, he hit the guy to stop him from hurting the poor animal every again. I heard this story around 10 years ago and will never forget it. Never in my life will I ever attend one of those circuses. |
