| Question: Do compositions when painting actually matter? Posted: 24 Oct 2014 10:48 AM PDT My art teacher always insists on me making compositions for paintings and drawing them out etc- paying particular attention to thirds and odd numbers.... but does it actually matter so what if something doesn't line up or if it looks out of place... surely if i chose for it to be like that then it's right? It really annoys me and i know she will tell me whatever i do is wrong because i don't have a focal point or whatever ... *** ofF! please help. thanks. bye. |
