| Question: Is this poem to dry? Posted: 22 Oct 2014 04:47 PM PDT It does tell a good story when the reader takes the time to read. You need capital "I' and maybe capitals every other line. Also break it up.Many use fancy tricks to make it seem better. I can remember everything............. Every step along the way.............. |

Writing this poem for a friend who's boyfriend always puts her down (about her looks mostly) and praises others but claims to love and notice only her. I took inspiration from Shane Koyczan and started off with "You crept into my life with your tongue like a knife stabbing your words into my skin". Now I want to say something along the lines of: in contrast for 'them' he used the 'opposite of a knife', 'healed' their 'scars' and made their 'skin' thicker, "is that what you call love?" But I don't know how to say it cause I suck at this stuff. It would mean a lot if you would help, thanks x |
| Question: Rate my lyrics please? (10 points)? Posted: 22 Oct 2014 02:42 PM PDT like i can't trust anyone but me in this place if you are going to get serious about writing, I suggest you use words that you can be proud of. |
