| Question: What are the top 5 ballet summer intensives? Posted: 07 Apr 2015 08:00 AM PDT In the USA in no particular order. SAB ABT (NYC location only) PNB SFB Juillard The Harid Conservatory And I would have to include CPYB as well even though it is only elite in the very top levels. It is still a great program for all who attend at any level. You did say best not most elite. That doesn't always go hand in hand. I would not include Kirov DC, Boston Ballet or Bolshoi ( USA) programs as one of the best or more elite as the other answer listed. I would put Miami City Ballet and Ballet Academy East before those. |
| Question: How to not embarrass myself at dance? Posted: 07 Apr 2015 05:32 AM PDT Best Answer: Yes, it will be intimidating, especially because students who can do certain tricks well like to show off their moves. There is no way around it really. Try to get a book on acrobatics and learn the names of each move, and the shape it makes with your body. Do not try it till you get to class, as you may hurt yourself.
