My only problem is, my guitar teacher won't teach me anything new lately. At most he will teach me how to do a new riff and then he'll show me a song of my choice. I'm not sure why, when I first started taking lessons with my teacher he would teach me a lot of things and it was great. Now he's saying that I'm "learning too fast for him to teach me anything new.' I think he means I'm getting good too fast for him. Anyway, I take 30 minute lessons every week, each lesson costs $30. But, I'm slightly pudgy and I want to take dance to slim up before the new school year when I go to a new school. I want to try jazz/contemporary/lyrical dance, but my mother wouldn't be able to afford both the lessons and dance classes at the same time. I am very passionate about music. The only reason I would take dance is to better my health and I find the style of dance very beautiful. I am not very athletic and I have extremely bad asthma, so I feel like dance would be a mental and physical challenge for me, which is what I want. Anyone's opinion would help.
