| Question: Opinions on philosophical thought? Posted: 13 Apr 2015 08:20 AM PDT I am 13 and very interested in the branch of philosophy.I have written a few things that i would like to show my religious studies teacher. Can you give me your opinion on them please. By the time i was intelligent enough to understand, i realised that my "friends" are distracting,in the sense that they are like a nature barrier between myself and the truth. Soon,i realised that it is only when one makes sacrifices do they begin to grasp the true fabric of knowledge, and so to overcome human desires and to "make a life" rather than "to make a living". When one is very cerebral,it's a lot easier to just shut out all of these distractions and focus on what you think is important. The deeper you go into the inner world, the less external things are attracted to you.Isolation breeds creativity and awareness. The phisiology of the body changes greatly between alive and dead. Are 'we' really there anymore?Isn't life what we 'know' and not about knowing something someone is doing while alive? The body that once said I,will still exist but will that 'i' still exist after decomposion has begun?Isn't 'i' just a state of being, one that will not be after death? Are we merely bilogical systems? Does language break down when we try to explain ourselves away?Judgement is an element of life. When we die we do not have our brains. The brain is what processes judgement. We all have our ideas but aren't they just a function of the mind?A function that is said to be an illusion by many philosophers |

| Posted: 13 Apr 2015 07:46 AM PDT Gtfo your idea of what somebody needs has nothing to do with reality. You don't go in somebody's face and tell them they need some s*** nor trying to sell them something you to force them to do something to believe something think a certain way do something for no god damn reason because you are selfish besides the fact I don't think that anybody wants constructive criticism especially because you believe that they need it. This question should be in the psychology mental health section for your own sake |
