I know that sometimes people self audition for parts if they aren't able to physically go to the location, but what is the most affordable yet necessary technology to use and how can one get it done?

Also, is it necessary to use hi-definition cameras? I ordered a glif tripod to use iPhone 5C, but it is really small and I'm not sure how I could use that to get it to eye level for a self audition. Any information or links to such is helpful. Thanks!

Based on what you have posted here, it seems that you want to explore new horizons in your life. In my opinion, this is a very great opportunity to figure out what talents you can really unleash.

I think you are a talented kid because you continue to enrich your strengths and quell your weaknesses. Prowess in music and dancing are a big plus to teenagers nowadays. On the other hand, perhaps join workshops in acting and writing if you are really eager to be good in acting and writing.
