In no particular order, these knights were Sir Pure, Sir Good, Sir Pious, and Sir Venerable, From the clues that follow, Arthur was to deduce the order of arrival of the four knights and the major color of each knight's trappings: blue, gold, purple, or white. 1. The four knights were Sir Pious, the knight who arrived second, the knight whose horse wore white trappings, and Sir Pure. |

Thoughts? Sorry... I was doing a research project and I was getting philosophical and it just HIT ME. Like it's been so many years since I first read this book but yeah... LOL |
| Question: VIOLIN....? AM I DOING WELL? Posted: 09 Apr 2015 08:25 PM PDT I don't know what piece you are talking about from your description. You shouldn't be trying to memorize a piece (song is the wrong word, because songs must have lyrics) if you are still struggling to play it properly. Rhythm comes first, then note accuracy, then bowing corrections, then dynamics and expression, and memorization is last. That's assuming you even have to memorize it at that point, because sometimes after you practice something enough, you memorize it without realizing you did until you get brave enough to take the sheet music away. You should be working this piece out with your teacher, and you should be doing exercises to control your bow through a string crossing (more difficult than remaining on one string). You should not be trying to get opinions of your playing from strangers who can't see or hear you and don't have the music in front of them. And it seems to me that you still need to learn to calm down and relax. |
