Try a full bridge and cobra stretch (google them for pictures).

Here are some arm/shoulder/neck stretches you can try: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736...

Question: Is it bad that i focus more on technique than flexibility?

It is NEVER bad to focus on technique in ballet when you are learning. It only stops becoming the main focus after years of training when it is so solid it is a given. Flexibility is a byproduct of ballet training not the goal. That being said Pilates is also not ballet technique.

The truth about your question is that it is the other way around. It is bad to focus on flexibility more than technique. Keep in mind flexibility without strength in ballet is useless.
Pilates is how professional ballet dancers cross train. Aside from it help build lean elongated muscles, it increases core strength and balance as well as flexibility. I do wonder about your Pilates classes if flexibility isn't part of it.
One last thing. It is very important to stretch. Especially after class as it helps prevent injury. While flexibility is not the focus, stretching is vital to the safety of your body as well as the added mobility and flexibility you gain from it. You stretch before class ( after warming up) to help your body safely work to it's optimum in class. The flexibility you gain from this is a byproduct.

To really be focused on technique it isn't done through Pilates class. Ballet technique is only gained through taking ballet classes. If you want to focus on technique it is by adding more ballet classes a week not by taking tons of Pilates. While Pilates is helpful in ballet it isn't a substitute for ballet training. It builds a strong body that is well suited to accept ballet training but it doesn't build actual ballet technique.
