No, shouldn't. Not on electrical contacts, it's likely nothing would foul.
Doesn't appear to be substantial enough to cause a problem
mounting it, or effect image registration

Might remove it with a clean pencil eraser and soft cloth.
Holding the lens, so as to use gravity to its advantage.

Cross hatching is pen or pencil drawing, and instead of blending out colours dark to light, the cross hatch of diagonal lines is increased or decreased to create tones in drawing, that is tone, tonal, toning, as values in texture or shading of object.
