Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:22 AM PST Of course! Everyone that is cognizant of their own mortality must wonder about the meaning of life at sometime (before the age of 12) and most of us have a mental grasp on our own understanding by the age of 14. Evidently NOT true for many users on this site though.

Question: What are some of the best arguments in support of the pro choice position? Posted: 05 Nov 2015 05:56 AM PST Peter Singer lists the reasons why killing is wrong, and argues that none of them apply to the fetus. There are a few other arguments here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzY0L2g1...
Question: 2 characteristics of philosophy? Posted: 05 Nov 2015 05:55 AM PST 2 characteristics of philosophy? ~~~ Original and critical thought! Philosophy is 'original critical thought'; Critical Thinking Bertrand Russell on Critical Thinking As opposed to the 'scholastic'; "..."philosophologists", a term coined by Robert Pirsig ("Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", "Lila") to denote people who study other people's philosophy but cannot do philosophy themselves. He also says that most people who consider themselves philosophers are actually philosophologists. The difference between a philosopher and a philosophologist is like the difference between an art and aesthetics; one does and the other studies what the other does and theorizes about it."

Question: Is existence a system? Posted: 05 Nov 2015 05:21 AM PST Well...we know that there are systems in existence. For example: the galaxy is a system, the Universe is a system, the Solar System is a system, etc. Whether or not all of existence itself is a system or can be considered a system is a matter beyond our knowledge, since we are not certain what all of existence includes. For example: we can imagine that all of existence includes several completely independent systems, that all of existence is not a single system but a rather chaotic jumble of multiple independent systems. So: we don't know for sure.
