- Question: So basically, from what we now know of the universe, the endlessness of it, the enormity of it , isn't it just a question of 'surrendering'?
- Question: So life is just a cheap, low fiction?
- Question: True or false were all just trying to survive?
- Question: Good VS Evil?
- Question: Why does our concience not leave us in peace? even if something happened about 4 years ago?
- Question: Is "Live And Let Live" still a good mantra to live and govern by?
Posted: 02 Nov 2015 05:36 AM PST I fail to see how one is related to the other... My sense on "inner peace, joy and love, etc," have nothing whatsoever with the universe, its size, shape, complexity or anything else. Those things depend entirely on how I choose to orient myself to MY person existence.

Question: True or false were all just trying to survive? Posted: 01 Nov 2015 11:17 PM PST False. Survival is no longer a primary concern for many people, especially in the first world. Now that survival has been taken care of, our challenge is to find the meaning of life and improve ourselves through learning.
Posted: 01 Nov 2015 01:31 PM PST god told me i am meant for great things. i have a perfect balance of both, whichever way i end up being is at no fault of mine. if society is good to me I will make the world a better place, and if society is bad to me i will reduce the world to ash. i am a mirror, i do not judge. i am reflect what has been cast upon me. and there is significant potential in both, i am a genius in observation to see and understand all things. I have a natural disposition to be selfless, compassionate and helpful. at the same time i possess tremendous talents in destruction and improving methods of destruction. btw they are both at the extremes of good and evil, i am both ultra good and ultra evil. who i become isn't up to me to decide, the world makes that choice. i just hope the world does it wisely and carefully... because on one hand they evolve and move forward more than 50 years than the last 2000, the other hand they lose 80% of the world population fighting a stupid war against one person.

Question: Is "Live And Let Live" still a good mantra to live and govern by? Posted: 01 Nov 2015 08:16 AM PST (1) A "mantra" by definition is a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation. It is also a statement or slogan repeated frequently. Therefore it is an inappropriate word choice for your question. "Principal", "philosophy" or "tenet" are words that would be correct in this context. (2) To answer your question, as a general principal it is a good philosophy, but it is not universally true. For example, should we allow murderers, theives and rapists to go about their business unhindered? Even if you think 'yes', society will heartily disagree with you.
