Question: Can all theists please agree on one scripture and interpretation thereof, so nontheists will have one uniform proposition to consider?

Sure. Just as soon as you get atheists to unanimously agree on what they believe.

Some claim directly that no gods can possibly exist. Others say they don't claim that gods don't exist, they only don't don't believe that enough evidence has been shown to warrant believing gods exist.

Until they universally agree, then all of you will stop coming here and promoting atheism, yes?

Question: Marx would freak out if he saw this!?

I normally don't eat at big commercial restaurants, however it was my mother's boyfriend's birthday and he loves this one restaurant so we all went there.

This is the restaurant,
http://www.texasroadhouse.com/

This has to be one of the most vulgar places I have been to
All the employees are young attractive women who were shirts with ridiculous jokes and references to the restaurant.
Many of them had shirts saying "I love my job"

It's a big bbq and sports kind of restaurant, like Duffy's except this one is more obscene. People throw peanuts on the floor. The entire vibe of the restaurant is that of enthusiasm and traditional American camaraderie.

I was particularly shocked by the "I love my job" shirt

Marx and his crew would hate this place!
Gramsci's jaw would drop and all of the French Marxists of the mid 20th century would condemn everything.

Look, I'm no Marxist or anything
I love restaurants
However, there is an immense level of exploitation going on there.
An atmosphere of "good vibes" is created to distract one from their menial labour.

What do you think?

Question: What's the point of anything?

So what are you going to do about it?

Somebody probably gives a damn about you.

You have some talents and abilities (assuming the Kardashians don't post to Y!A)- use them.

Question: Do you agree with Locke’s Tabula Rasa Theory? Why or why not?

Agree. Children imitate whoever they associate with. You all know the movie Tarzan. He was brought up by monkeys, and he took on the habits of monkeys. If you keep children in good association, their psychological development will be very good—they will become like demigods. But if you keep them in bad association, they will turn out to be demons. Children are a blank slate. You can mold them as you like, and they are eager to learn.
You can mold them in any way, like soft dough. However you put them into the mold, they will come out. Therefore if you give children good association, they will develop nicely, and if you put them in bad association, they will develop poorly. They have no independent psychology.
