Posted: 27 Nov 2015 06:38 AM PST This is probably a fairly rotten way to get bronze and you would have to name a specific brand to have the slightest chance of learning something about tip composition, which looks like it might be copper, brass, bronze, or silicon bronze. Tin burns off when bronze is melted, especially if done poorly, so unless you have some requirement for an exact match, just melt the stuff and pour it. By the way, the exact melting point can give you a clue to the percentage of copper/tin.
