| Question: Cover art for a fanfic on fanfiction.net? Posted: 29 Nov 2015 11:00 AM PST I'm writing a fanfic, and I'd like to add an image for the cover. The problem is that I can't use an image that isn't mine/I don't have permission to use. I've been searching for the original artist to ask them for permission, but I can't find them anywhere. Although I know their name, I can't find their website or email to ask them. I've searched multiple art sites like deviantart. Could I use the image if I made it clear that the art didn't belong to me and gave the original artist's name? Or should I just search for another image and artist to ask? |
